Elizabeth Banks is about ready to star alongside Russell Crowe in the next film by Crash Oscar-winner Paul Haggis.
According to Variety, Banks is in final negotiations for Haggis’s The Next Three Days, a remake of the French thriller Pour elle.
The plot of the film concerns a couple who “find themselves in an unthinkable situation and have to make desperate choices that will test the limits of love.” So…there.
Crowe is already set to star in the film, which Haggis is writing, directing, and producing.
Don’t know how great this one will be. If Crash and In the Valley of Elah are any indication, though, I’m not really expecting too much.
