(Jack Black, as obvious as it seems, really would be a terrific choice for Curly in my opinion.) However, I'm still not sure how I feel about the project itself. This type of comedy is really dated and that's a big part of its charm. It just wouldn't work quite as well with today's production values (though many would argue that it never worked to begin with). Also, it works better in tiny spurts. The old short films are much-loved and hilarious, but all the feature films they did were atrocious. This sounds like it could be one hell of a disaster.
