I love Terry Gilliam, not in spite of his occasionally terrible movies (looking at you, Tideland) but because of them.
With each film, the man goes for something “out there,” and when he hits, he knocks it out of the park.
So my hopes are high for The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. Even if it fails, though, I know it will fail in an interesting way.
