Hey there, friends. Yesterday we had a brief glimpse at the trailer for Peter Jackson’s The Lovely Bones, complete with Entertainment Tonight commentary. Now, thank God, we’ve got the real thing.
And it’s an interesting little trailer. I don’t know a whole hell of a lot about this story–never read the book–but it certainly looks like it could be an extremely original and fascinating venture. There are a lot of varying elements here–from fantasy to tearjerker to thriller–and I look forward to seeing how they all intertwine together.
I can’t say I’m 100% floored by it, but I will say that…I’m intrigued. Check it out below, with its very own saucy intro from Peter Jackson himself, and judge for yourself.
UPDATE: Yeah, it’s gone. We’ll keep you posted about when we get a hi-quality version up.
UPDATE 2: Here it is. Apologies for the delay.

God, that looks so much better than the ET clips. I remember Jackson saying he wanted to find a way to make her hovering over everyone on some other plane NOT cheesy, and it looks to me like he succeeded. I’m excited.
