I have never seen a Bridget Jones movie. But I love the special effects work in the film. You know, where they make it look like Renee Zelwegger actually has eyes…
There’s really nothing those Hollywood magicians can’t do, is there.
There are a lot of huge fans of this franchise, so Working Title has decided it’s time to give these characters another go. The third film will, indeed, involve Zelwegger reprising her role as a British publishing executive.
The movie, still in the very early stages of development, might be based on Helen Fielding’s weekly newspaper columns from 2005 in which a 40-something Bridget races to have a baby! BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE!
I’m probably not the right person to be writing this news story as my snarky comments will probably come across as mocking. In truth, I’ve only heard good things about this franchise and been told by a number of friends that I might really like it. I guess this is the perfect excuse to go check out the original.
