Another Clash of the Titans photo arrives: pretty badass, really.

Hans here with a new pic from Louis Letterier’s remake of the 1981 sword and sandal classic/artifact of cultural silliness Clash of the Titans.

Below are two pictures, the first of which we posted a few days ago (but liked it enough to post again).  Both pictures depict Sam Worthington, who is slowly becoming one of the biggest movie stars on the planet, in full badass garb with lots of smoke and coolness surrounding him. You really gotta love it.

All of the hype and anticipation for this one has kind of passed me by. I only saw Clash of the Titans once when I was a mere boy and even then I thought it was kind of silly. I will give it up for the sequence where Perseus takes on Medusa though. The reveal of Medusa in that scene is one of the creepiest ever. But really, the movie is just kind of a greatest hits of Roman mythology.

I really think Worthington, as Perseus, could bring the whole thing a different, Beowulf-style energy, making the whole thing really bloody and balls to the wall. At least that is what I am hoping for. The stuff with Zeus and Hera walking on clouds engaged in a domestic struggle needs to be dropped. I’m not interested in a soap opera wrapped in the fabric of Greek mythology.

Anyway, feast your eyes:

This looks like it might be OVERLY stylistic. I don’t want another 300, personally.
