I’ll come clean about never having seen the first movie.  It looked silly, and goofy, and forgettable.

This one does too, but to be honest, it looks much better than I remember the trailer for the original looking.  Maybe it’s just lowered expectations, but this one seems to have a little more focus on putting in some clever puns and jabs at historical figures and pop-culture icons.

That doesn’t mean I’m running out to see this opening weekend, but it does mean I might give it a shot.  Especially since Jonah Hill is in it.  He’s a funny man.
