Danny Huston is the latest actor to join the ever-expanding cast of the Clash of the Titans remake.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Huston will be playing the god Poseidon in the upcoming remake alongside Liam Neeson, who is playing Zeus and Ralph Fiennes playing Hades. I think Neeson’s salary will cost about three times more than the entire budget of the original.
The rest of the cast includes Gemma Arteron, Sam Worthington, Alexa Davalos, Mads Mikkelsen, and Luke Treadaway. The film is being directed for Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures by The Incredible Hulk director Louis Leterrier.
Huston is the son of legendary filmmaker John Huston and half brother of actress Anjelica Huston. He has been seen in films like How to Lose Friends and Alienate People, 30 Days of Night, and was absolutely excellent in The Proposition. I’m willing to see anything he’s in…even The Number 23.
