I’m flustered. Everything I’m hearing about this movie says that it won’t be any good, but every trailer I see gets me totally jazzed. Half-Blood Prince was possibly my favorite of the Harry Potter books, and I’d like to see them do it right!

We’ve got another international trailer for it right here. If it indicates anything, it’s that they’ve again got the right idea for this one. I’m hanging on to my faith that David Yates (whose adaptation of Order of the Phoenix was excellent) will deliver the goods yet again.

This trailer is very focused on the Professor Slughorn plot thread, and it looks like Jim Broadbent was an outstanding choice for the role. I always pictured him to be maybe a bit more on the portly jolly side, but I like what I see here.
