Hi, all. Quaid here. I got a message in my inbox reminding me about the release of a film that sounds kind of interesting, so I thought I’d pass it on.
The movie is a documentary that screened at the Sundance Film Festival aptly titled Tyson. Directed by James Toback, the film follows Mike Tyson’s fall and personal journey to find redemption. Toback says:
“The regeneration, reconstruction and rehabilitation of a great spirit is always possible,”
Now, finding redemption in the spirit of Mike Tyson is something a movie will have to work really hard to accomplish, but I’m willing to be challenged. Love him or hate him, Tyson is fascinating, and this movie might prove fairly interesting. Click the poster on the left to make biggified.
The movie comes out in New York and LA on April 24. Which means I won’t see it for at least a few months (sometimes living in Louisville sucks).
