Hi, all.  Quaid here with a fun little story about a film franchise that really doesn’t deserve the attention.

According to Entertainment Weekly, seems Drew Barrymore is looking at the possibility of directing the third Twilight film, entitled Eclipse.  Chris Weitz is directing New Moon, the second installment in the Stephenia Meyer series, right now.  Seems the studio is pumping through directors quickly to limit the overlap in preproduction and get the movies made as fast as possible.

This is important for two reasons.  First, while the main male lead of the films does not age, Robert Pattinson, the actor portraying Edward the sparkly teenage vampire, most certainly does.  And second, people are going to start losing interest in these movies really quickly.

I mean, come on people, this is no Harry Potter.
