News Brief: Sarah Connor and Little Fockers

Quaid here with a quick rundown of a few notable news stories…

sarah_connorFirst, it seems Linda Hamilton is in talks to reprise her role of Sarah Connor in McG’s Terminator: Salvation.  The catch?  It seems she is only being considered for a voice-over role.  Still it would be kinda cool to have the character back in some capacity, so I hope they work this one out.

The movie we have all been waiting for is about to get made.  That’s right, the third of the Fockers trilogy is in the writing stages.  The second sequel to Meet the Parents will be called Little Fockers.  I wonder what it’s about.  The script is being rewritten by John Hamburg.  Jay Roach, the director of the first two installments in this epic story, will not be directing the third movie.

Finally, because the site couldn’t survive without at least one Watchmen reference a day, there are rumblings from VH1 that the over-three-hour-long director’s cut of Watchmen might get a limited theatrical release, depending on how well the theatrical cut does.

That’s all for now.  Stay tuned.
